The GIS For Biologists series currently consists of three books. These are the main book called GIS For Biologists: A Practical Introduction For Undergraduates and two accompanying workbooks. These books are published in conjunction with GIS In Ecology. These books is primarily aimed at the undergraduate and postgraduate markets, and provide both introductory reference information and practical exercises to help new users get started with using GIS in different areas of biological research. The first book in this series is accompanied by an online course based around on-demand videos that is available from the GIS For Biologists website.
